The home screen is not a list of files. It is the people, pets, vehicles, properties, accounts and businesses in your life, each with what is current, what is next, and what is missing.
People & things, not folders
A vet record is Health, about Biscuit. A registration is Vehicles, about the Civic. Documents are linked to who and what they concern, so you look at the Civic instead of remembering a search.
Current facts in one place
The current policy number, the current registration expiry, the current lease term: the newest document that states each fact wins, and it is one click from its source.
Superseded, not deleted
A new policy term supersedes the old one. The library stays a library after ten years because current documents are the default view and old ones sit one click behind.

- Names are matched carefully: "Dana L." on a prescription and "Dana Leonard" on a lease are the same person; a VIN or a plate settles a vehicle.
- Merge two entries or rename one at any time; every document follows.
- Mark a car sold or a house moved out of, and every expectation about it closes.

What if it links a document to the wrong person?
Unlink it on the document page and pick the right one. The reader learns the household glossary, so corrections stick.

Every family and business gets an email-in address. Forward a bill, point the scanner at it, or drop a file, and it is read and filed within a couple of minutes.
First import
