Everything is sorted first, fast: what it is, who it concerns, what year. Then every document is read in full, current ones first, so the things you are likely to ask about are answerable soonest.
Hints, not facts
Folder names, tags, notebooks and correspondents from the old system are passed to the reader as hints. Nothing becomes a fact until it is confirmed from the page.
A screen that fills in
Not a progress bar. People, vehicles and properties appear as they are found. A timeline by year fills in. Then the checkup.
Nothing to review
There is no "review these 200 items" step. Uncertain reads are filed with a flag and surface one at a time, later, if they ever matter.

- Exact duplicates are recognised by content, linked to the original, and never read twice.

How long does a thousand documents take?
Sorting a thousand documents takes well under an hour. The full read continues in the background over the following hours.
What does it cost you to run?
About a cent per document to sort and a few cents to read in full. The free plan includes the full sort for the first 500 documents.
